Done Deal Looming? Juventus Secure Direct Agreement With Atletico Star Alexander Sørloth

0

The transfer market is absolutely exploding in Italy as Juventus trigger a massive, ruthless overhaul of their attacking unit ahead of the new season. Following the shocking, complete collapse of contract negotiations with star striker Dušan Vlahović—who is now officially set to walk away from Turin as a high-profile free agent at the end of June—the Bianconeri have moved with lightning speed to secure his replacement. According to top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have taken a massive step forward by reaching an initial agreement on personal terms with Atletico Madrid’s powerhouse forward, Alexander Sørloth.

The 30-year-old Norwegian international has reportedly given his complete green light to the move, highly enticed by the ambitious rebuilding project being put together in Turin under manager Luciano Spalletti. Reports from Italy indicate that Sørloth has agreed in principle to a lucrative four-year contract worth approximately four million euros net per season, a significant bump from his current wages in the Spanish capital. The towering striker, who smashed an impressive twenty goals across fifty-four appearances for Atletico last season, is seen as the perfect physical focal point to lead the line and bring some serious ruthlessness back to the Allianz Stadium.

While locking down the player’s approval is a massive victory for Juventus, the hard part now begins in the boardroom. Direct negotiations have officially opened between Juventus and Atletico Madrid, but the two clubs remain locked in a tense financial standoff. The Spanish giants are holding out for a hefty fee of over thirty million euros, hoping a potential bidding war with interested Premier League clubs will drive the price up. Juventus, however, are sticking rigidly to their thirty million euro limit. Thankfully, the great relationship between the clubs—especially with ongoing separate discussions to make Nico González’s loan stay in Madrid permanent—is expected to help grease the wheels and get the deal over the finish line.

What makes this transfer saga even more terrifying for the rest of Serie A is that Juventus aren’t planning to stop with the Norwegian giant. Corporate insiders reveal that securing Sørloth is simply step one before launching an all-out, aggressive pursuit to bring back PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani on a permanent deal following his loan spell. The Bianconeri hierarchy is clearly done playing nice after missing out on the Scudetto, and if they manage to pair Sørloth’s physical dominance with Kolo Muani’s electric pace, Juve will firmly establish themselves as the absolute team to beat next season.
