What was supposed to be a warm-up fixture at Stadium Australia turned into pure drama, ending in a dramatic 2-1 victory for Tottenham—despite playing almost the entire second half with only 10 men.
The action kicked off fast when summer signing Sandro Tonali opened his account for Spurs in the 17th minute, drilling a deflected effort past Teddy Sharman-Lowe. Chelsea hit back almost instantly, with teenage sensation Estêvão Willian powering home a brilliant header just four minutes later to level things up.

It marks a painful first defeat for new Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso, while Spurs walk away with serious bragging rights and plenty of momentum heading into the new season.
