Dortmund travels to Sinsheim this weekend with history—and the form book—firmly on their side. While Hoffenheim’s season is starting to stall at the worst possible moment, Nuri Sahin’s Dortmund side is looking to bounce back from a narrow loss to Leverkusen and cement their status as Germany’s “best of the rest.”

The Tactical Breakdown

Hoffenheim is in a bit of a funk. They’ve managed just two wins in their last nine games, and while they showed heart coming back from 2-0 down to draw with Augsburg last week, their defense is leaking like a sieve. They’ve conceded 43 goals this season, and against a Dortmund attack featuring a red-hot Sehrou Guirassy, that’s a recipe for disaster.

Dortmund, on the other hand, is a beast on the road. They are currently on a 10-match unbeaten run away from home in the Bundesliga. Even with Karim Adeyemi sidelined with a muscle injury, BVB has enough depth with Julian Brandt and Jobe Bellingham pulling the strings in midfield to dominate possession and dictate the tempo.

Key Match Stats

The Bogey Team: Dortmund has won seven of their last nine meetings against Hoffenheim, including five straight wins at the PreZero Arena.

Road Warriors: BVB has scored at least 2 goals in six consecutive away league games.

Defensive Struggles: Hoffenheim has failed to win any of their last three home games against bottom-half opposition.

Predictions & Betting Tips

Main Prediction: Dortmund to Win (2)

Dortmund’s away form is too clinical to ignore. Hoffenheim is struggling for confidence, and BVB usually treats this stadium like their second home.

Goal Market: Over 2.5 Goals & GG (Both Teams to Score)

Hoffenheim almost always scores at home, and Dortmund’s attacking metrics are elite. This has “3-1 to Dortmund” written all over it.

Player to Watch: Sehrou Guirassy to Score Anytime

He’s been the focal point of everything good for BVB, and against a shaky Hoffenheim backline, he should get plenty of chances.

Lock of the Day: Dortmund Draw No Bet (DNB) for your accumulators.
