Arsenal delivered a commanding performance in yesterday’s North London derby, thumping Tottenham Hotspur 4–1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League.
The Gunners took the lead just before halftime through Eberechi Eze, who opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a brilliant finish. Although Randal Kolo Muani quickly equalised for Spurs, Arsenal seized control after the break.
In the second half it was all Arsenal: Viktor Gyökeres restored the lead early after the break and later added a stoppage-time goal, while Eze struck again to make it 3–1 and effectively seal the win. Both Eze and Gyökeres finished with two goals apiece to underline their influence in one of the standout derby performances of the season.
The result not only completed a league double over their bitter rivals but also reinstated Arsenal’s five-point lead at the top of the Premier League, underlining their title credentials after a couple of recent draws raised questions about their form.
For Spurs, the defeat compounded early struggles under interim head coach Igor Tudor, leaving them winless in the league in 2026 and dangerously close to the relegation zone.
Arsenal’s fans will take heart from a dominant away display that was clinical in attack and decisive in all areas — a result that could prove pivotal in the closing stages of a tight title race.
