AS Roma have officially closed a €35 million deal to sign Bologna forward Santiago Castro, securing one of Serie A’s most promising attacking talents.
Negotiations moved rapidly following Roma’s missed attempts for other target attackers earlier in the transfer window. Gian Piero Gasperini approved the move to bring the 21-year-old Argentine to the Stadio Olimpico on a five-year contract.
