The Golden State Warriors were staring into the abyss, down 13 points in the fourth quarter and on the verge of early vacation plans. But then, the Greatest Shooter of All Time decided he wasn’t ready to go home. Stephen Curry went into full superhero mode on Wednesday night, dropping 35 points to lead the 10th-seeded Warriors to a stunning 126-121 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

In a high-stakes Western Conference play-in battle, Curry looked every bit the four-time champion. He torched the Clippers with seven massive 3-pointers, including a cold-blooded dagger from deep with just 50.4 seconds remaining that gave Golden State the lead for good. It wasn’t just the scoring, though; Curry’s gravity allowed veteran Al Horford to catch fire late, proving that even at 38, Steph still makes everyone around him better.

The Dubs closed the game on a ferocious 16-6 run, locking down Kawhi Leonard and silencing the Intuit Dome. While the critics have spent all season calling the Warriors “old” and “finished,” Curry’s 35-point masterclass serves as a loud reminder: never bet against #30 when his back is against the wall.

Key Game Stats:

Stephen Curry: 35 PTS, 4 AST, 7-12 from 3PT range.

Al Horford: 14 PTS (including 4 clutch 3-pointers in the final 6 minutes).

The Comeback: Warriors erased a 13-point deficit in the 4th quarter.

What’s Next: Golden State heads to Phoenix to face the Suns in a “win-or-go-home” fight for the final 8th seed.
